First MSU Football Game!

We all had a great time!

He made it through the first half without getting fussy, but we knew he was at his limit, so we left!

He somehow slept through part of the game...not sure how though!

Odie's 1 Year Appointment!

Oliver is doing well....he weighs 21lbs and is 29.25 inches long. He's only in the 26th percentile for weight and height, but we're working on that :)

He hasn't been drinking enough milk, so Jason and I have been following him around with the sippy cup so he drinks all day now...lol.

Odie's Real Birthday, Tuesday, November 3rd

We let him eat some more cake for his real birthday...unfortunately it had orange frosting on it...but, no worries, Trudy managed to lunge across the room from the couch and clean the tray off while Odie was getting a bath...

Odie's First Birthday!!!

Well, needless to say, Odie had a wonderful first birthday bash! Aunt Saundra showed up and surprised us all!

Oliver loves all of his gifts, and had a great time eating his cake! He even slimed his Mom a little!

I think I'm going to invent an easier way to package toys though...it took Jason and I rest of the night to get all his toys out of the boxes!

Halloween!

Even though we were ramping up for Odie's party, we managed to sneak in a few hours to go over to Uncle Jeff and Aunt Julie's for Odie's first Halloween bash! They had 2 trick or treaters, but we were prepared with lots of candy ;)

Odie got to open a few birthday presents from Uncle Jeff and Aunt Julie and from Great Grandma and Grandpa Young...


Unfortunately, he was more interested in the dog presents...you know...you can only try so hard to keep dog toys out of his mouth, and then you give up...


The girls all had a great time...Agnes and Olive were very proud of their glow-in-the-dark PJ's...they kept trying to get someone to take them into the closet so they could glow :)

A trip to the pumpkin patch!

Yesterday Jason, Oliver and I met up with Grandma and Grandpa Garrett at the pumpkin patch!

By mid-afternoon, the wind had picked up quite a bit, so it was a short but fruitful trip...(get it...fruitful...ha ha ha)

Odie loved his pumpkin and cried when we took it away. He sat with it the whole time we were at the farm!

His new thing is to get inside the dog cage and close himself in....it's pretty funny. He also drags the enamelware dog bin across the tile because it's the loudest thing imaginable...thank God for DVR, eh? :)

New things everyday!

Odie is now creeping all around the living room....he loves making laps around the coffee table!

This also means that he falls down a lot more....which means we have several Odie pity-parties a day now...lol.

He has switched to whole milk (yay no more formula) and has eaten peanut butter...and he is still alive...so I think that went well...so now he can have PB&J's for lunch...(yay...another easy meal for Mom!!)

In order to gain the girls' trust, Odie has been feeding them any chance he gets...he had a wonderful time taunting Hermie with animal crackers last night...

After giving Odie a bath last night, I went to grab his high chair tray to wash it...but when I got there it was spotless...even though Trudy is the oldest...she's the only one brave enough to span the distance between the high chair and the couch for some leftover pulled pork and mixed fruit...little bugger...

The Final Camping Trip of the Year!

Almost two weeks ago, a bunch of us got together for a camping weekend up at Snow Lake. It was a bit chilly at night and in the morning, but we all had a great time...and we all had heat...except Chris and Lynette...ha ha ha.

New things in Odieland...

So Oliver has been learning new things everyday!

He has officially perfected crawling and is pulling up everywhere! He stands on the gate into the kitchen like a prison inmate...now if I can just keep him from chewing on my coffee table...and who said kids weren't just like dogs??

Speaking of dogs, my wonderful sweetie Francine decided to projectile vomit this liquidy bile stuff all over the wall by the back door. She must have done this when I left the room, so I didn't see it at first...

A few minutes later I see Oliver all covered in..."something" and I start looking around and I realize he is covered in Francine puke....sigh.



It only took Hermie .2 seconds to realize that Odie feeds her....do you think she wants something???
